Welcome to web site of "SETTE TERMINI MTB".

Our team was the result of an initiative of some people, who like riding a mountain bike. The team was established in 2007 when theese people decided to race a 24H endurance competition in near Switzerland.

At the beginning members of team were just some bikers of valley near mountain called "Sette Termini" (972m) and most of them live near Varese, in the north part of Italy, but, day by day, the team became bigger and bigger including every kind of biker : racers, freeriders, and so on...

Team's name comes from a mountain which name means "Seven Boundary" because of seven stones lay in the mountain peak which defined, in the past, the boundary  of grazing ground of village around mountain.

Our purpose is to enjoy ourselves promoting every kind of practice of mountain bike, with particular attention to natural environment.

As well as cross country, marathon and endurance races, since 2008 we've been working with a local branche of Club Alpino Italiano, the most important mountain no profit organization in the whole national territory, to arrange bike excursions. From 2009 we've been also working with other local no profit association to organize events connected to the world of MTB.

Every year our activities start organizing the "Giro dei Sette Termini in mtb" : a bike trail across our mountain with restoration/buffet at San Paolo church near Marchirolo. This free partecipation event concerns a lot of association ed municipality and wants to be like a classical spring bike event riding mountain bike.
